Just six weeks ago RGG launched, with a brave face and heart, but perhaps also with a little fear and trepidation thrown in for good measure! It was a leap into slightly murky waters for Andy De Looze. As although he had owned many high street retail music shops since the late 70’s for the last 10 years he has concentrated solely on his eBay guitar accessory company ‘Papa D’s Music Store‘ which has itself become a global success, selling quality and value for money guitar parts and accessories, but it had been over after 25 years since he had been involved in actual guitar sales. Besides his past experience in the retail guitar market, Andy embarked on this new venture with not much more than a good gut feeling for what he believed guitarists wanted and a comprehensive knowledge of of the instrument, so he bit the bullet, tightened his bum cheeks and jumped in, only to find that the water was warmer, more welcoming and clearer than he had feared. Since opening RGG and working Facebook as a platform to gain a strong data base and impact, sales have started to flow. Selling many vintage and rare guitars to a host of satisfied customers from as far apart as Italy, Hawaii Finland and of course the UK.
