I visited Andy recently after recommendations from a friend and a stranger. In the past I’ve traveled a long way to get my guitars set up, so the possibility of finding someone more local was worth a try. First of all, it was a pleasure to deal with a cheerful, experienced guitar player. Some techs don’t play and it makes it harder to describe ‘feel’ and what you’re after. I left one guitar to have the intonation improved and another to have a neck reset and a new saddle. The work was done in a few days and I was very pleased with the results and price (which had been agreed before work commenced).

I have no hesitation in recommending Andy to other guitarists for setup and repairs.
