I am more than happy to recommend Really Great Guitars after the work carried out on my Taylor 210-e-G. I have had this guitar from new, but after 10 years it was in need of some maintenance, cleaning, and minor repair to the frets and body.

Meeting Andy in his workshop was reassuring and a pleasure, nice location, and well organised. We discussed and identified the needs of the guitar and the work to be carried out which included protecting a dint on the body, I worried it had reached the wood. My big fear was that I might lose quality of sound and action to a guitar that is perfect for me.

I needn’t have worried. The work was carried out and completed on the date set. The neck looks new and the dents on the frets are gone. The action is perfect and new strings were fitted (You can choose to supply your own). The bodywork carried out means I know the wood underneath is safe from the elements. I received a Repair Form on which Andy has put on my action preference measurements for future reference.

It’s been a pleasure to meet and chat guitars and music with Andy and look forward to him carrying out work on a 12-string soon. Oh! And I got to meet Ringo!
