So come on, what ya waiting for “LETS ROCK”

…….This amp is for collection only……

The new Orange Rockerverb 50 MKIII combo is an improved version of the popular Rockerverb MKII, offering tons of versatility, great tone and plenty of power for the gigging musician. It’s already one of the finest valve amps there is at the moment! Released exclusively as a celebration of the Rockerverb’s 10th anniversary, the MKIII continues to work with everything that has made the series so successful, and improved upon other things (such as a re-voiced clean channel to give a more ‘chimey’ response etc.). It’s plain for all to see just why the Rockerverb series has been a mainstay for touring artists and session aces during these 10 years, on the road and in the studio.

10 Years at the top, and still going strong!

Highly Versatile Twin Channel Design

Arguably the most attractive feature of the Rockerverb amps thus far has been those iconic high gain tones. This tradition is continued in the MKIII, but with added flexibility – produce anything from classic British crunch to the filthiest of the filthy whilst maintaining an oustanding amount of clarity and preserving that tone. The Clean channel has also been ever-so-slightly adjusted to produce a brighter range of tones, but with more accurate control via the re-engineered two-band EQ section.

Valve Driven Spring Reverb

The Rockerverb 50 MKIII houses a single 12AT7/ECC81 valve and custom transformer to help recreate the classic spring reverb sounds of yesteryear. This is arguably Orange’s richest sounding spring reverb thus far, producing a more intuitive and usable sweep than ever before and giving you a nice range of sounds to play with.

Footswitchable Attenuator Control

The volume controls of the Rockerverb 50 MKIII contain an Attenuator certain, which helps determine just when and how the amp distorts after the preamp stage, meaning you can lower the overall volume level of the amp whilst keeping a nice measure of control of the amp’s saturated output – even at the lowest volumes this amp remains springy and responsive! Adjusting the Attenuator control clockwise will reduce the overall output level, but this can be remotely bypassed via a footswitch to give you a volume boost on either channels when ripping out those solos.

Switchable Output Power

Switching the amp’s output power allows for more control over the headroom and breakup from the output valves. Reduce the output for greater output valve clipping and saturation at lower volume levels. The Rockerverb 50 MKIII features a ‘half power’ mode which drops the plate voltage on the output valves, reducing the output power to 25 Watts.

Celestion Speakers

The Celestion Vintage 30 is one of the most popular drivers in the world today, and with good reason. A pair of these, housed in a rugged open-back plywood combo shell, take the Rockerverb MKIII to another tonal dimension.
