Here at RGG we are privileged to have up for sale this stunning 1972 Les Paul Recording & original case.
These Les Paul’s are now getting very collectable & this baby has all the mojo that just makes you want to pick her up, plug her in & play. With an ultra low action & arrow straight neck, this guitar is super playable. She is in all original, very good condition, with tons of fret-life left & the Pots date her to 1972.
I found a great web link to a site that gives a lot of info about this guitar including a good explanation of the control panel etc. See below:
So come on, grab yourself a true piece of Recording History before she goes!
The Les Paul Recording was a replacement for the Les Paul Personal and Les Paul Professional that launched in 1971. All three Les Pauls were designed to incorporate innovative electronic features, and included by two oblong plastic-covered pickups and a more rounded cutaway horn. In addition to the phase control found on the Professional and Personal, the Recording added a high/low impedance selector with an internal transistor and did away with the XLR output jack. This guitar carries the distinction of being the Les Paul of choice of Les Paul himself.
