  • 34″ Scale Maple Neck
  • 20 frets
  • Split-Oval Pickups

This is a great little piece of Fender bass history. The USA Bullet Deluxe in Vintage white. She is in very good condition, but has a few buckle grazes on her rear & a scar or two here & there & THAT fag burn on her headstock in true road-worn style (See pics) but after all she is 35 years old. She plays like a dream, sounds like thunder & has an ultra straight neck.

Serial Number E002378 is 79-82, but pot codes are mid 1982.

Comes with lovely 4 latch tweed, plush lined case, in fabulous condition

This is not a big investment for such a great piece of (Very Playable) Fender history.

A bit of blurb:

The Fender Bullet Bass is an electric bass guitar model produced by Fender. It was introduced in the CBS era of 1982 as a part of a new line of guitars meant to replace the outgoing Mustang and Musicmaster – Fender’s so called “student” guitars. The Bullet Bass had Mustang style pickups, but was available with a standard 34″ neck in addition to the short scale 30″ neck that the Mustang had. These instruments were only produced in the USA for a couple years until Fender decided to transfer Bullet production to Japan in 1983/84. They then fell under Fender’s newly active Squier branding.

The Bullet Bass had a standard-sized body with a classic silhouette and were made of alder. The B-34 had a vintage-inspired headstock on a maple neck with 20 frets. Its split-oval pickups resembled those on a Mustang Bass (which had been discontinued the previous year), and it had a Precision-style bridge/tailpiece and Strat-like Volume and Tone knobs.
