Here at RGG, we are lucky to have up for sale a very desirable 1997 Jimmy Page ‘Signature’ Les Paul Standard. These are hard to get a hold of, particularly in this condition!

It is finished in beautiful Honey Sunburst, with minimal play-wear, with just some light buckle rash to the rear that would not come out on the photos, but it is there!
She has a lovely straight JP contoured neck, which is kind of 59 meets 60’s profile. Quite slim, but not too whippy & not too chunky. She has been set up to perfection with low action & really, truly does play like butter.
The “Super-circuit” enables all kinds of sounds (Over 20 tone combinations) which is a big feature of this guitar. These are controlled by the tapping & phasing options operated via the ‘Push-Pull/Dual Concentric Pots on all volume & tone knobs.
Has it’s original ‘Gold’ Faux Signature on the cream scratchplate, which has been sensibly fitted with a protective, removable, see-through sleeve.
This Rock ‘n’ Roll Baby has a Solid Mahogany body & Neck (Not a chambered body) and weighs in at 10.3lb.
Overall she is in 8/10+ condition, which for a 20 year old guitar is pretty remarkable!
The case is a Black USA Gibson with shroud (But not the original) & is in great cosmetic condition, but does have one latch that doesn’t close!
Some Blurb:
The Gibson Jimmy Page Les Paul signature model was made from 1995 to 1999 and was based on Jimmy’s 1959 Les Paul Standard. The guitar had the Les Paul single cutaway bound mahogany body with maple top, 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. The black peghead was bound. Hardware was gold finished including the Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece. The cream pickguard was engraved with a “Jimmy Page” signature. It was finished in light honeyburst. It had two humbucker pickups: a 496R and a 500T controlled by a three-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone knobs. The tone controls were push/pull pots that controlled phase and also coil tapped the Humbuckers.
