This is a rare opportunity to get your hands on an all original 1970’s John Birch 4001 style Bass. These basses are very collectable & are getting extremely hard to get hold of now. This one is finished in Arctic White, which was quite rare for this model, as most were in Green & Cherry Sunburst finish.

It comes with the Hyperflux pickups. She plays beautifully well & has pretty much zero fret wear.

She has a few age signs such as some minor crazing to the rear of the neck at the heel & a couple of minor body marks, but nothing really noticeable, but for a 40-50 year old guitar, she is in amazing all round order, I would say she is 8/10 condition

I think the case is original. It is in 9/10 condition

In brief, John Birch made for many of the Stars of the day, including, Tony Iomi (Black Sabbath) Brian May (Queen) Roy Orbison, Richie Blackmore (Deep Purple) Dave Hill (Slade, Remember his machine gun guitar!) The Glitter band & many, many more. Check out Wikipedia for the full John Birch Story

Trade / PX Always welcome.
